concerned we're going to overwhelm their little ticket office when
we all hit at 6:30 tonight. They have asked us to
purchase tickets early if possible. You can buy them
ANYTIME today by going to the ticket office (just below the Galt
House hotel) or calling 502-574-2992 (or 1-866-832-0011) and pay by
credit card. Mention you're with PlanetChristmas and get a $2
discount for adults. Note: We're taking the sightseeing
tour... the dinner is sold out.

 What's a re-PLUS 2009? Our previous format of several days in a
huge convention center with lots of classes, vendors and fancy presentations
doesn't hardly work in a tight economy. We listened, retrenched and
reformatted the event. It's now just one day at a downtown Louisville
hotel with classes and presentations sandwiched between two evenings of
socializing. We also made it FREE (well, except for the evening
activities away from the hotel.)
Weather permitting, we'll get a head start
Friday night and do a short
cruise on the Belle of Louisville Riverboat (right below the Galt House
hotel.) Show up at the dock at 6:30pm and buy a ticket. Look for
more information in the menu to the left.
We'll get underway Saturday morning in
the Conference Theater (on the second floor) at the Hyatt about
10:00 Attendance is running higher than expected so arrive
early to get a good seat.. Registration begins at 9:30.
Although vendors aren't allowed to have booths, many are offering
exclusive discounts to re-PLUS attendees. A sampling includes Creative
Displays, the Demented Elf, Light-O-Rama, Reinders and Colonnade Lights.
Saturday evening we'll walk about half a block and celebrate at Fourth
Street Live.

PLUS2009 is surrounded by hotels and you can't really go wrong in the
downtown Louisville area. We have reserved
room blocks at some nearby
hotels strictly as a convenience to re-PLUS attendees. The properties
have offered some discounted rooms to sweeten the deal a bit but there's
nothing kicked back to the re-PLUS event.
