Pretty good questions!  Start with the links to the left.  Keep in mind there's a lot to absorb and it can easily be overwhelming in the beginning.  Start small, master it and then build on what you have done.  it works every time! 

One of the most exciting things you can do is computerize your display!  Not only does it make for an exciting light show and traffic stopper, but it also saves dramatically on electricity being used.  Why?  Since the computer controls when the lights are on and off, and they're flashing, you use a lot less electricity.

Don't forget the most important reason to decorate the outside of your house at Christmas... Santa is more likely to see your place when he's flying around delivering gifts.
